Neighbor to Neighbor provides volunteer home-based care-giving services geared to building relationships with people having long-term health needs or disabilities, allowing them to remain independent and in their own home for as long as possible. In addition, we offer social events that keep people connected to each other and the community at large.

Neighbor to Neighbor: Building a Community with Local Students and Seniors
Seventy-one care recipients and their volunteers attended a Holiday Lunch and Cookie Exchange hosted by Neighbor to Neighbor. Volunteers provided the lunch and cookies and the Arlington Middle School and High School Chorale, led by Music Director Patty Cod, provided the entertainment. The students were absolutely captivating as they entertained the gathering with delightful holiday songs.

Southern Vermont Art Center Opens their Doors to Neighbor to Neighbor

Southern Vermont Arts Center invited Neighbor to Neighbor care recipients and volunteers to tour the World War II Associated Press photo exhibit. Volunteers provided lunch in the studio and then proceeded to the gallery to view the photos. Many reminisced about the war years and several touching stories were shared throughout the afternoon.
